Hey guys it’s dr sam robbins. Today’s topic is how high blood pressure causes erectile dysfunction or ed or impotence. Now, when it comes to getting interaction, there are many factors. It’s honestly can be complicated. First and foremost, you must have the correct amount and ratios of various hormones such as testosterone and estrogens, dht, cortisol, dhea and so on and so forth. Then we have to have the correct neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin, and that in itself is a balancing act. Then we have different gases and enzymes such as nitric oxide or phosphodiesterase type 5. Now we can’t forget about healthy blood flow circulation and, finally, the mind what you think about how you’re feeling your turn-ons and turn-offs your fetishes and so forth. Yup your penis, really does have a mind of its own. However, today I want to talk about how high blood pressure can have very negative effects on getting erections and is a major cause of erectile dysfunction and impotence. Now, a study in the journal of american geriatrics society found that about 49 of men, ages, 40 to 79, with high blood pressure, had erectile dysfunction. That’s 50 percent of guys over the age of 40.. Now another study of men with high blood pressure published in the journal of urology, found that 68 of them had some degree of erectile dysfunction for 45 percent of the men. It was considered severe. Ironically, men with high blood pressure also have low testosterone levels and, as you may already know, testosterone plays a major role in sexual performance, but I’ll talk about testosterone topic in another video. Now, high blood pressure by itself can lead to erectile dysfunction, as we’ve seen in numerous studies. Ironically, many drugs for treating high blood pressure anti-hypertensive drugs can actually be the cause as well. That means these drugs can actually cause even more erectile problems. However, one anti-hypertensive drug works really well at improving erections. It’s a pde5 inhibitor and it’s called sildenafil, better known as Viagra yep sildenafil was originally a drug designed to treat high blood pressure. In fact, it goes by the trade or brand name of revatio, which is the same exact drug as Viagra, but the difference is Viagra costs much more than robotio. Again, it’s all about marketing. When it comes to erections, we charge you more when it comes to blood pressure, we charge less. Now, I’m not going to tell you to go out and use Viagra or Cialis or similar drugs to lower blood pressure and, as added bonus, get better erections. They have their own set of negative side effects and obviously it’s not a good long-term solution for healthy blood pressure. Honestly, I’m not a fan of using any drug daily and long term because they all have negative side effects. You see your body’s designed to adapt to everything, including any and all drugs, thus, over time you need a higher and higher dose of the drug, which obviously leads to more and more negative side effects, and after a few months or a few years, you’ll end up having to take other drugs to deal with the negative side effects of the first drug. But I’m sure you already know this now. I’ve had personally I’ve had to personally deal with this topic with my own parents, especially my father. Needless to say, if you have high or even semi-high blood pressure- and you have- and you want to have better erections and healthier life, you must make improvements in your life to help naturally lower your blood pressure. Then you won’t have the negative side effects of the drugs and you’ll end up, obviously with better stronger and fuller erections, and this is true for any age. Okay, of course, you should never get off any medication without first speaking to your doctor. First just know that you do have natural options that work quickly. They work with your body they’re easy to use they’re natural they’re safe and will help your erections rather than causing erectile problems so scroll down to the description area.
